Keri Russell Joins Star Wars: Episode IX

It’s being reported that Keri Russell has joined the cast of Star Wars: Episode IX in an unknown role.

Keri Russell, known for The Americans, worked with director J.J. Abrams on 2006’s Mission: Impossible III.

The Star Wars: Episode IX role is said to involve heavy action and fight scenes, which Keri Russell is no stranger to.

It’s possible she could be playing a member of the Resistance, the First Order or some other role. 

Star Wars: Episode IX has a December 20, 2019 release with a script from Abrams and Chris Terrio starring Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, and John Boyega.
