Batman: Arkham City Prequel Video Game In Development; Joker, Superman, Justice League Mentioned

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:2201:]]Warner Bros. is currently developing a prequel to the popular Batman: Arkham City video game and sequel, Arkham Asylum, from Rocksteady Games.

According to Variety, the new video game is said to be about Batman first meeting the Joker, and will include other DC Comics super heroes, with Superman and the beginning of the Justice League mentioned.

“It’s based on the Silver Age of DC’s comicbooks from the 1950s when the Caped Crusader teamed with other heroes like Superman and founded the Justice League of America,” Variety states.

Variety also notes that Mark Hamill will not be reprising his role as the Joker, as Hamill previously went on record stating as much.

Also, the new game looks to be released in 2014.
