Now Aquaman Said To Be Epic

Earlier saw a rumor hit the net suggesting that James Wan’s Aquaman movie has problems.

Now Aquman is said to be epic.

Following today’s Aquaman rumor, I did some digging and came across a post on letterboxd.com, a social network for movies, from a user who claims to have watched Aquaman on February 21st, which of course would have to be for a test screening.

Jason Momoa Aquaman

The user was asked questions by some other users, with his response being positive for Aquaman.

“Was it good?” one user asked.

“Surprisingly yes! Like WW and Ant-Man mixed together but a bit more epic,” the letterbox user replied.

The user also offered that Nicole Kidman is “there but not enough…”

Jason Momoa Aquaman

A quick check of the person’s activity reveals that they apparently participated in test screenings for other movies including Pacific Rim Uprising and A Quiet Place, both of which have yet to be released.

The person gave Pacific Rim Uprising three stars (out of four, I believe) offering it’s “big time fun” and “John Boyega doing his Boyega best!”

For A Quiet Place, the user gave it three-and-a-half stars with “another successful entry for horror,” “perfectly acted in the entirety of silence and mannerism,” and “it takes balls to end a movie like that!”

Amber Heard Aquaman

Bear in mind studios conduct test screenings to get early reactions to their movies and make necessary adjustments if need be; so someone coming out and stating so-and-so movie was excellent or even sucked, doesn’t necessarily mean that will be the final product audiences see in theaters.

Deadpool 2 appears to have similar results as numerous test screenings of different versions of the film were held, but all said to have scored higher than the first Deadpoool movie

Regarding the Aquaman comments, comparing it to Ant-Man and Wonder Woman is rather interesting and at the least suggests it will be a really fun movie.

Aquaman has a December 21, 2018 release starring Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Patrick Wilson as Orm the Ocean Master, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, with Temuera Morrison as Aquaman’s father, Thomas Curry, Nicole Kidman is playing the mother to Aquaman, Queen Atlanna, and Dolph Ludgren is King Nereus.
