The Power Rangers movie is moving forward with Project Almanac director Dean Israelite for a January 13, 2017 release.

Independence Day 2 has a June 24, 2016 release described as: After Independence Day redefined the event movie genre, the next epic chapter delivers global catastrophe on an unimaginable scale. Using recovered alien technology, the nations of Earth have collaborated on an immense defense program to protect the planet. But nothing can prepare us for the aliens’ advanced and unprecedented force. Only the ingenuity of a few brave men and women can bring our world back from the brink of extinction.

Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them is the Harry Potter spinoff starring Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander with a November 18, 2016 release.

Gods Of Egypt has a April 8, 2016 release described as: Magic, monsters, gods and madness reign throughout the palaces and pyramids of the Nile River Valley in this action-adventure inspired by the classic mythology of Egypt.  With the survival of mankind hanging in the balance, an unexpected hero takes a thrilling journey to save the world and rescue his true love.  Set (Gerard Butler), the merciless god of darkness, has usurped Egypt’s throne, plunging the once peaceful and prosperous empire into chaos and conflict.  With only a handful of heroic rebels opposing Set’s savage rule, Bek (Brenton Thwaites), a bold and defiant mortal, enlists the aid of powerful god Horus (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) in an unlikely alliance against the evil overlord.  As their breathtaking battle against Set and his henchmen take them into the afterlife and across the heavens, both god and mortal must pass tests of courage and sacrifice if they hope to prevail in the spectacular final confrontation.
