Elektra Joins the Fight Today in Marvel Heroes 2016!

Since her first appearance in DAREDEVIL #168 (January 1981), Elektra has proven herself one of the Marvel Universe’s most dangerous assassins. Finally, Marvel Heroes 2016 players can experience her lethal suite of moves for themselves – she’s newly available today as the game’s 57th playable character. Voiced by Kat Cressida, Elektra dons her classic red costume, and an alternate choice is available inspired by her appearance in Marvel’s Daredevil Season 2.

Elektra attacks with her sai, a rope dart, shurikens and other powerful abilities, such as Marked for Death, which debuffs powerful enemies while buffing herself. Extra care was placed into making her feel like a true assassin: “We opted for a more target-selection mechanic to represent Elektra’s assassination skills rather than basing her strictly around stealth, to differentiate her from other assassins in the game,” says Michael May, Senior Game Designer at Gazillion. “She does have stealth mechanics, but her gameplay is mostly driven around finding high-value targets, marking them, then taking them out.”
