Brie Larson Joins Vin Diesel and Jason Momoa In ‘Fast & Furious’ 10

Over the weekend saw Vin Diesel announce that Brie Larson has joined the cast of Fast & Furious 10, which also includes Jason Momoa.

“Yeah yeah yeah… you see this angel over my shoulder cracking me up, you say to your self ‘that’s captain Marvel,’” Diesel posted on Instagram. “Clearly there is love and laughter in this image.”

He continued, “What you don’t see however, is the character you will be introduced to in Fast10. You have no idea how timeless and amazing she will be in our mythology. Beyond her beauty, her intellect… her Oscar, haha is this profound soul who will add something you might not have expected but yearned for. Welcome to the FAMILY Brie.”

Brie Larson confirmed the casting on Twitter, “Excited doesn’t even begin to explain how I feel about joining the Fast family. Thank you for welcoming me in with so much kindness and excitement, @vindiesel. Can’t wait to share more (when I can).”

Back in February while promoting her Nissan Super Bowl commercial, Brie Larson told Uproxx she wanted to be a part of the Fast & Furious franchise.

“Please, please tell everybody I would, of course, want to be in a Fast & Furious movie,” she said. “I’m obsessed. I love them. I think they’re so good. They’re so fun. And they’ve made me appreciate cars. And it’s something that should be appreciated. They’re incredible. So of course, please.”

Vin Diesel returns as Dominic Toretto for Fast & Furious 10 with Justin Lin directing and the movie also stars Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Ludacris, Game of Thrones‘ Nathalie Emmanuel, The Suicide Squad‘s Daniela Melchior, Charlize Theron is expected back, and John Cena may also return as Jakob.

The film gets released on May 19, 2023.
