Power Rangers Movie Teases Green Ranger Again; Lord Zed Wanted For Sequel

The Green Ranger is again teased for Power Rangers!

With the Power Rangers Blu-Ray now available, the Power Rangers movie Facebook Alpha 5 AI instant messenger has once again become active and teased the Green Power Ranger.

The AI sends a message asking if you are still there. When answering, Alpha 5 then says, “Thanks goodness. I’m picking up a green energy signature… again!”

The Green Power Ranger was teased in the Power Rangers post-credit scene, and a deleted scene also featured original Power Rangers Jason David Frank, the original Green Power Rangers, and Amy Jo Johnson, the original Pink Power Ranger.

If a Power Rangers movie sequel is made, it will most likely feature the Green Power Ranger.

Regarding chances for a Power Rangers sequel, as the movie didn’t do all that well at the box office, the good news is that a sequel is being talked about.

Screen Rant reports Power Rangers director Dean Israelite wants Lord Zed.

You know, there was a lot of discussion at one point of Lord Zedd being in this movie. We didn’t have the real estate for it, and I didn’t want to dilute the storytelling, so Lord Zedd definitely has to make an appearance in the franchise, he’s a fan favorite.

Dean Israelite also said he thinks the PG-13 rating hurt the Power Rangers movie as it should have been a PG movie instead.

The initial release of the Power Rangers movie also saw the film’s social media accounts post the following Green Ranger motion poster, teasing the character for a sequel.
