Ezra Miller Video No Joke ‘Serious Altercation’

Sunday saw Ezra Miller involved in some sort of altercation with a woman while at a bar in Iceland which is said to be no joke, but a “serious altercation.”

The video shows The Flash actor placing his hands around the neck of a woman, seemingly choking her, and taking her to the ground.

The woman does have a smile on her face, but things looked to have gone too far as the person filming the video can be heard yelling “Woah, bro. Bro!” as Miller takes her to the ground, which sees the filming abruptly stop.

New details are learned about the incident as Variety reports the video isn’t a joke, but a serious altercation.

The incident took place at the bar Prikið Kaffihús in Reykjavik, Iceland where it’s thought Miller is there to film Fantastic Beasts 3:

Despite confusion online over whether the video was a joke — with memes already emerging on Twitter, where Miller’s name has been trending — a source at the establishment, Prikið Kaffihús, has confirmed to Variety that this was a serious altercation at the bar, and that the man, whom they identify as Miller, was escorted off the premises.

Ezra Miller in the hot seat over an alleged altercation in Iceland with fan

Further details revealed by the article include that Miller likes to frequent the establishment whenever he is in Iceland (Fantastic Beasts also filmed in Iceland), and the article says there were no previous issues with Miller.

Regarding the incident, the article claims Miller was confronted by a group of “eager” fans who were “quite pushy” which saw things “escalate” including Miller “losing his temper at one woman in particular.”

It’s said that the Prikið staff escorted the “upset and angry” Ezra Miller off the premises following the incident.

According to posts on social media, it’s alleged that Ezra Miller was drunk at the time, that the woman jokingly asked if Miller wanted to fight as Miller said he had been in a lot of fights and was showing off his scars, that Miller spat on the Prikið staff, and that Miller was outside barefoot for ten minutes while the cops were called.

Regarding social distancing and the coronavirus, the official Prikið Kaffihús Facebook page did post that only 18 people are allowed inside and that they must be a distance of two meters apart, so it doesn’t appear as if the bar was busy.

Miller and Warner Bros. haven’t yet commented on the situation.
