2K Games has released a 20-minute gameplay trailer for the upcoming Marvel’s Midnight Suns video game by developer Firaxis Games.

Per the previous rumors, players can’t play as the popular Marvel characters, but play as a newly created protagonist for the game, The Hunter, which is described as “the first customizable original hero in the Marvel Universe.”

The gameplay trailer shows off The Hunter teaming with Wolverine against Sabretooth. Also check out the announcement trailer below which features a bevy of Marvel heroes including Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Ghost Rider, and more.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns is a new tactical RPG set in the darker side of the Marvel Universe, putting you face-to-face against demonic forces of the underworld as you team up with and live among the Midnight Suns, Earth’s last line of defense.

Fans can sign up for the exclusive Blade Nightstalker skin at midnightsuns.2k.com.

The video description for the gameplay trailer offers:

Tilting the odds in Wolverine’s favor on this occasion will be members of the Firaxis development team and the Hunter, Marvel’s Midnight Suns’ protagonist and the first customizable original hero in the Marvel Universe. The Hunter has a previous lifetime of training and experience to draw on and can fill a number of different combat roles by focusing on dealing damage, supporting allies, controlling enemies, mitigating incoming damage, or any combination thereof.
