Kevin Feige Confirms Gay Eternals Marvel Character

Following Thor: Love and Thunder‘s Tessa Thompson who will be looking for her queen of New Asgard, Kevin Feige confirms a character in the upcoming Eternals movie is gay as well.

“He’s married, he’s got a family, and that is just part of who he is,” Feige told Good Morning America on Monday, but stopped short of saying who the character is in the movie.

Unfortunately, no clues can be found in the comics who the gay character is as Jack Kirby’s Eternals didn’t feature any LGBT characters.

The Avengers: Endgame director Joe Russo actually popped up as Marvel’s first gay character as he played the small part in that support group scene with Jim Starlin and Steve Rogers.

The recent D23 Expo also saw the cast of Eternals appear with concept art released and the announcement that Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington is playing Black Knight, said to be a lead character in the flick.

The cast of the Eternals also recently agreed that they could destroy both the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Eternals gets released Nov. 6, 2020 directed by Chloé Zhao starring Angelina Jolie (Thena), Lauren Ridloff (Makkari), Salma Hayek (Ajak), Lia McHugh (Sprite), Barry Keoghan (Druig), Brian Tyree Henry (Phastos), Kumail Nanjiani (Klingo), and Don Lee (Gilgamesh).
