Ahead of WWE Backlash on Saturday, Friday Night SmackDown ended with a BANG when Randy Orton again appeared out of nowhere to give heavyweight champ John Cena an RKO.
As Cena was ending the night with a speech about what a last real champion looks like, a mystery figure in a hoodie and mask appeared and tried to RKO Cena. However, Cena turned things around and gave the individual an Attitude Adjustment.
As John Cena was celebrating, the real Legend Killer appeared out of nowhere, waved “you can’t see me” and again nailed Cena with an RKO. As Cena lay in the ring unconscious, Randy Orton raised the heavyweight belt high in the air, a preview of what’s to come Saturday night when the two WWE Superstars face off at WWE Backlash for the undisputed heavyweight champion that Cena stole from Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41.
