Returning cast

Ine Marie Wilmann (Nora), Kim Falck (Andreas), and Mads Sjøgård Pettersen (Kris) reprise their roles. Their chemistry defined the first film, so expect a familiar team dynamic.

Folklore meets action

Roar Uthaug and writer Espen Aukan return, keeping the focus on blending Nordic legend with explosive monster mayhem. The first film’s use of traditional troll lore (sunlight, church bells, ancestral skulls) suggests more mythic nuance is coming in Troll 2.

Release info

The first Troll (2022) film is available on Netflix. Troll 2 premieres on Netflix on December 1, 2025.
