Marvel Studios released a new Loki Season 2 featurette showing off an “Amazing” look at the upcoming series with the announcement of a new premiere date.
“Marvel Studios’ Loki Season 2, an Original series, is time slipping to a new date streaming October 5 at 6PM PT, only on Disney+,” notes the description.
Tom Hiddleston returns following Season 1 where the timeline has been altered.
“I’m excited to be back,” says Hiddleston in the footage. “Back in the TVA.”
Sophia Di Martino also returns as Sylvie.
“Everything is stepped up a gear,” she says. “The stakes are huge.”
Di Matrino adds, “You get to see Tom in a suit… A lot of people are going to like that.”
“We introduce this whole new corner to the MCU and these new characters,” offers executive producer Kevin R. Wright.
New to the show is Ke Huy Quan.
“I’ve been a fan of the Marvel Universe for a long time. I’m so grateful to be a part of this amazing series,” he says.
Wright adds, “Rest assured, our Loki will be with our Mobius, and they will be dealing with the consequences of this first season.”

What is Loki Season 2 about?
Loki Season 2 picks up in the aftermath of the shocking season finale when Loki finds himself in a battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority.
Along with Mobius, Hunter B-15, and a team of new and returning characters, Loki navigates an ever-expanding and increasingly dangerous Multiverse in search of Sylvie, Judge Renslayer, Miss Minutes, and the truth of what it means to possess free will and glorious purpose.
The series also stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Rafael Casal, Tara Strong, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, and Neil Ellice.
