The Batman 2 back on track
The completion of the script for the sequel comes three years after the first film was released on March 4, 2022 and brought in over $770 million at the box office.
It also comes after rumors and speculation said Reeves would be off the movie, and that possibly The Batman 2 wouldnât be happening.

James Gunn shut down the rumors
Recently saw James Gunn, head of DC studios, shut all that down.
âPeople should get off Mattâs nuts because itâs like, let the guy write the screenplay in the amount of time he needs to write it,â Gunn told EW.com. âThatâs just the way it is. He doesnât owe you something because you like his movie. I mean, you like his movie because of Matt. So let Matt do things the way he does.â

The Batman: Part II release info

âI can tell you that we are going to be shooting this year and that weâre excited about it. I canât really tell you anything about it [laughs] except that weâre really excited about it,â Reeves said while appearing at the Golden Globes.
He continued, âIâm really excited to be making it, and to get our cast back together and to get new people involved. Weâre really excited about it. I think what I am excited about is that I feel like weâre doing something that absolutely continues where the story came from but is something I hope people are going to be really surprised by.â
