Henry Cavill Loves Space Marine 2: Hope For Warhammer Series?

Warhammer super fan, Henry Cavill, takes to social media and loves the new Space Marine 2 video game, which may mean good news for his live-action series that is supposed to be released on Amazon Prime Video.

Space Marine 2 is the new Warhammer 40,000 third-person shooter hack and slash video game developed by Saber Interactive and published by Focus Entertainment.

“Seriously, though, they’ve done pretty well eh? I couldn’t complete the campaign on Angel of Death by myself (or at least didn’t have patience to complete by myself!) which I love!” posted Cavill on Instagram.

He continued, “Loving the PvP and am really looking forward to it growing and expanding – It has real potential to be absolutely awesome! Disclaimer: I know nothing about game development so the kind of dreams I have may be rather difficult to implement!”

Eagle-eyed fans also noticed a copy of the Horus Heresy Book 2 rule book for Warhammer 30k, which is a rare hardcover that fetches hundreds of dollars or more.

Also – sorry fans – if you are trying to zoom in on the image to spot Henry Cavill’s username, he is smart enough to have photoshopped it over with “nope.”

What about Henry Cavill’s live-action Warhammer series?

First announced in 2022, rumors offer the Henry Cavill Warhammer series might not happen.

It has been claimed that Henry is butting heads with various execs who want to ruin the property. As Henry is such a big fan, it’s claimed that, much like The Witcher, he wants to keep his Warhammer series as close to the source material.

You’ll notice The Witcher series has took a big downturn at Netflix. Amazon Prime Video is also behind the Rings of Power series, which doesn’t stick to the source material and has lost millions of viewers.

With Henry Cavill saying good things about the Space Marine 2 game, hopefully, it means the rumors are wrong.
