Update: Amazon has officially announced that Amy Pascal and David Heyman are in charge of the James Bond franchise and will be producing the next movie.

We are honored to be working with them on James Bond’s next chapter and are excited to deliver to global audiences storytelling that upholds the impeccable legacy of this beloved character.”

Amy Pascal is the former head of Sony Pictures who oversaw the Bond franchise with the releases of Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Spectre and Skyfall. She also produces Sony’s popular Spiderverse animated films, as well as the Spider-Man movies with Marvel Studios.
David Heyman known for Harry Potter, Gravity
David Heyman is known for producing the Harry Potter films, the Fantastic Beasts movies, I Am Legend, We’re The Millers, Gravity, Wonka, The Paddington flicks, and more.
What will the Amazon James Bond reboot be like?
Amazon has full creative control. It has been claimed prior to getting the full rights that Amazon wanted to possibly go with a female Bond and DEI spinoffs. Following backlash, however, it seems things may have changed. The most recent report says Amazon is going to keep their new James Bond a male and British but is open to a POC.
Amazon’s new James Bond has no director, writer, actor, title or release date. The fan-favorite by far to play the new 007 is Henry Cavill.
