Ryan Reynolds Teases Deadpool Christmas Special In Video

As first suspected last month, now fans may actually have something to celebrate next month and may be given a special present this holiday from Ryan Reynolds who teases a Deadpool Christmas special.

Last month saw Reynolds post images of himself where it appeared he was back in the Deadpool suit along with Leslie Uggams who plays Blind Al.

“Got to see the gorgeous, legendary, one and only Leslie Uggamsm,” posted Reynolds at the time.

In the background can be seen Christmas decorations; however, it wasn’t known if the footage was from when they filmed Deadpool & Wolverine or if it was new.

Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld chimed in and confirmed some sort of holiday special, as Rob tweeted, “Disney/Marvel aren’t done with variant Blu-Ray’s on Deadpool & Wolverine. Look for a special holiday edition announcement incoming soon.”

Will we see Ryan Reynolds back as Deadpool Santa?

Now Ryan Reynolds released the following video on Instagram Story which features Rufus Wainwright’s song, “Oh What a World,” which means Reynolds’ voice can’t be heard.

Reynolds moves the camera and gives a quick glimpse of what appears to be Santa’s sleigh, so maybe we’ll see Ryan Reynolds suit back up as Deadpool Santa for Christmas.

Recall that Ryan Reynolds released that “12 days of Deadpool” promo for the first movie and the Deadpool/ NBA Christmas ESPN spot. Watch the Instagram Teaser teaser below.

Deadpool & Wolverine is now out on Disney+ where it has been viewed more than 19 million times. The flick has grossed over $1.3 billion at the box office.
