Superman Stars Unite at MegaCon, But Henry Cavill’s in Australia Filming Voltron

Over the weekend, six Superman actors united at the big MegaCon convention in Florida, but noticeably absent was Henry Cavill, who is in Australia filming the live-action Voltron movie.

Tom Welling posted an image featuring himself with Brandon Routh, who played the Man of Steel in Superman Returns and Crisis on Infinite Earths. Also present in the photo is Dean Cain from the Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman TV series, along with Tyler Hoechlin, who recently wrapped up his stint on Superman & Lois. Two voice actors are also featured including George Newbern from the Justice League animated series and Tim Daly from the DC animated films.

While Henry Cavill also played Superman in the DCEU, Welling replied in the comments: “***Henry was filming Voltron’ in Australia***.”

Henry Cavill in Australia

Not only is Henry Cavill filming Voltron in Australia, but he also appeared at Australia’s AACTA Awards with girlfriend and the mother of their new baby, Natalie Viscuso. Henry can be seen clean shaven and sporting curlier and longer hair, which is apparently the look for his unknown role in Voltron, which doesn’t have a release date as of yet. Henry presented Damon Herriman the “Best Supporting Actor Award In A Film” for Better Man. Watch below.

Natalie Viscuso also happens to be wearing a giant diamond ring leading to speculation the super couple may be engaged.

Next, Henry Cavill will film the new Highlander movie in Scotland with John Wick‘s Chad Stahelski. Prior to leaving for Australia, Henry also confirmed his live-action Warhammer series is moving forward at Amazon Studios. Recently also saw Henry’s screen test make its way online for James Bond.
