The Masters of the Universe He-Man movie has found its Teela with Camila Mendes who is known for playing Veronica in The CWâs Riverdale.
Mendes joins the previously announced Nicholas Galitzine as the titular character and Prince Adam.

Teela is a warrior who as Captain of Eterniaâs Royal Guard, is responsible for protecting the royal family, especially Prince Adam aka He-Man.
In their report, Deadline says the plot is being closely guarded and for the second time doesnât mention the previous description which was said to take place on Earth, so hopefully they scrapped that idea (I actually sent the head of MGM Studios an e-mail strongly advising not to go that route):
10-year-old Prince Adam who crashed to Earth in a spaceship and was separated from his magical Power Swordâthe only link to his home on Eternia. After tracking it down almost two decades later, Prince Adam is whisked back across space to defend his home planet against the evil forces of Skeletor. But to defeat such a powerful villain, Prince Adam will first need to uncover the mysteries of his past and become He-Man: the most powerful man in the Universe!
Additional details include Travis Knight (Bumblebee) is directing from a screenplay by Chris Butler (Knightâs Kubo and the Two Strings stop-motion animated action fantasy film writer). David Callaham and the Nee brothers took an initial crack at the script.
Masters of the Universe gets released on on June 5, 2026.
