Avengers: Doomsday Trailer Leaks? Not So Fast

Despite all the noise on social media, the real Avengers: Doomsday trailer still hasn’t leaked online following Disney’s CinemaCon presentation.

Of course, that hasn’t stopped fake videos from spreading fast, especially on TikTok, where multiple accounts are claiming to have the leaked trailer.

The problem is that none of them appear to be legit. Most are using a mix of real footage from Marvel movies, fan edits, and obviously AI-generated material passed off as the real thing.

Fake Avengers: Doomsday Trailer Videos Are Flooding TikTok

A big red flag with a lot of these fake videos is how heavily they focus on random fight footage, which is usually a giveaway that something has been generated or manipulated with AI. A lot of the current AI models tend to lean hard into action, martial arts, and generic combat scenes.

So if a supposed Avengers: Doomsday leak is nothing but characters punching, flipping, and fighting without any real story beats or clean dialogue, chances are it’s fake.

That seems to be exactly what is happening here. The fake clips are designed to get attention, rack up views, and fool fans looking for the real trailer after all the CinemaCon buzz.

Avengers: Doomsday Opening Scene Rumors Could Be Fake

CinemaCon Likely Had Anti-Piracy Tech In Place

Another reason the Avengers: Doomsday trailer may not have leaked is that CinemaCon appears to have stepped up its anti-piracy measures.

One CinemaCon attendee explained that people inside the theater noticed green lasers randomly pointing at seats.

At first, attendees thought someone was messing around with a laser pointer, but it was later understood to be part of the venue’s anti-piracy system.

According to the explanation, the technology used night-vision devices to identify people attempting to record the screen with their phones. Once someone was spotted, lasers would appear and darken their screens. The claim was that every seat was being monitored.

If true, that would go a long way in explaining why no real Avengers: Doomsday footage has surfaced online, especially considering how major the trailer sounds. Sorry, TikTok.

The Audience Also Matters

It is also worth noting that CinemaCon is not Comic-Con.

The crowd is mostly made up of theater owners, exhibitors, and industry people, which means the Avengers: Doomsday trailer was shown to an audience there for business, not necessarily for leaking exclusive footage online.

Even so, it does not mean nobody tried to record it, but again, anti-piracy measures were reportedly in place.

One TikToker who claimed to be at CinemaCon said a bearded man in a Star Wars shirt sitting in front of her recorded the whole thing, though that post also likely comes off as pure bait.

Still, even with that claim floating around, no real footage has made it online. That either means the recording never happened, the quality was unusable, or whoever got it has not posted it publicly.

What The Avengers: Doomsday Trailer Showed

Even if the trailer itself has not leaked, descriptions from CinemaCon have made their way online, and they paint a big picture of what Marvel is building.

Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom – in a different voice than he used for Tony Stark and said to be unrecognizable – says, “Before this day is done, we shall be faced with an unthinkable decision.”

The footage includes Thor battling Doctor Doom and later reuniting with Steve Rogers. At one point, Thor says, “It’s not possible,” just before Steve reaches for Mjolnir, and the hammer leaves Thor’s hand and flies to him.

Professor X is shown witnessing an incursion, with Xavier’s school sign seen lying on the ground as a voice warns, “Something’s coming, something we may not be able to deter…”

Professor X then looks out his window and sees flames falling from the sky, clearly shaken by what he sees. Doom is said to narrate parts of the trailer with a slight accent, and another shot shows him rising with his hood and mask on.

New Avengers Tower, Fantastic Four, And X-Men Revealed

The footage also reportedly features the new Avengers tower, complete with an updated “A” logo and a redesigned structure with three spires. Inside, the Fantastic Four meet Bucky, Ant-Man, Captain America, and others.

Cyclops appears in a new shot, which adds to the growing X-Men presence in the movie.

Another sequence shows the Fantastic Four meeting Wakandans in a desert setting where the water has been forced away, creating giant walls around them.

Mystique, Yelena, Shang-Chi, And Gambit

One of the more unexpected moments reportedly involves Mystique shapeshifting into Yelena.

Yelena is seen walking past a concerned Reed Richards before a fight breaks out involving what looks like two Yelenas. One of them is later revealed to actually be Mystique in disguise.

The trailer also includes a big Shang-Chi vs. Gambit fight sequence, described as explosive and fluid, almost like a dance.

Avengers: Doomsday Thor Trailer: Confirms Thor and Loki Return

Thor’s Warning And Doom’s Power

Thor reportedly carries much of the trailer with a speech about the danger everyone is facing. He says:

“I have fought with many warriors in my time. They were far stronger than any of us combined, and they died. They died facing enemies and threats that scared me far less than this one. Everything that we sacrificed will be for nothing if we do not stand together. If you return, you will return as brothers and sisters, but mark my words… we’re going to need a miracle.”

That warning builds to one of the trailer’s biggest moments, where Thor hurls Stormbreaker at Doctor Doom and Doom casually stops it with one hand, even with just his fingers in one description.

Thor then closes with the line, “We’re going to need a miracle.”

Avengers: Doomsday Trailer Confirms Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers Return

Steve Rogers Returns

The trailer’s big ending reportedly takes place aboard the Fantastic Four’s ship.

A voice is heard off screen saying, “Hey pal.”

It turns out to be Steve Rogers, now sporting longer hair and a beard, which leaves Thor stunned.

Steve then raises his hand, pulls Mjolnir from Thor, and catches it with a grin.

That moment alone explains why Marvel likely wanted to keep the footage locked down at CinemaCon.

Why Fans Still Haven’t Seen The Real Thing

So for now, the reason the Avengers: Doomsday trailer has not leaked seems pretty simple.

Fake AI clips are muddying the waters, CinemaCon likely had anti-piracy tech in place, and the audience was made up mostly of theater industry insiders instead of fans looking to post shaky cell phone footage.

Could a real leak still show up? Sure. But as of now, if you see a supposed Avengers: Doomsday trailer online, especially on TikTok, there is a good chance it is fake.

The film will be released on December 18, 2026.
