Blame Lex Luthor?! The official DC YouTube channel has been taken down as apparently it was hacked by Koreans or someone pretending to be Korean.
Update: The DC YouTube channel has been restored.
What happened?
Prior to being taken down, fans noticed the @ username was changed to “@jinwooljw10710.”
The description was also changed to Korean and translated via Google states in part, “Yulhajung 10710 Lee Jinwoo’s personal account.”
The display image was also changed to some sort of graph.
Presently, when visiting the DC YouTube channel, the channel is blank and empty and states, “This channel is not available.”
Who is responsible?
It’s unknown how the DC YouTube channel was hacked or by who. Even though it was changed to Korean, the hacker could very well be of a different origin.
If I had to guess, I am guessing YouTube itself wasn’t hacked that possibly someone got access to the DC YouTube password and changed things.
