The Boys Season 5 teases the “Supernatural” reunion between Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki in a new video posted to social media.
Jensen Ackles has already been a part of the show playing Soldier Boy. Last summer saw Padalecki confirm his debut in The Boys. His role is unknown.
“I’m going to go play in Kripke’s newest playground. I had a great time the first time around, so I’m sure I’ll have a great time here again. I love the show. I think it’s hilarious and exciting,” Padalecki said back in June.

“We got work to do”
“Hey, Jared. We got work to do… again,” says Ackles in the video.
Padalecki replies, “Okay, I’ll tell Misha — Misha, we got work to do.” Their 1967 Chevrolet Impala can be seen in the background that was used in Supernatural.
The video also features Misha Collins who wrote for Supernatural and is writing Season 5 of The Boys. Showrunner Eric Kripke created both of the series as well.
When does The Boys Season 5 get released?
The Boys Season 5 official premiere date hasn’t yet been announced. The series is expected back on Amazon Prime Video in 2026, which will be its final season.

New to the Season 5 cast includes Daveed Diggs in a mystery role, and Mason Dye as Bombsight.
