Prime Video has set the premiere date for its new adult animated comedy Kevin. The series debuts April 20, 2026, with all eight episodes streaming exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories.
The announcement also includes the reveal of the show’s title sequence, featuring an original song, “I’m Coming Home,” performed by series lead Jason Schwartzman and co-written by Schwartzman and composer Dan Romer.

What Is Kevin About?
Kevin follows a housecat whose life changes after his human owners unexpectedly break up. Rather than pick sides, Kevin breaks up with them both.
He leaves home and relocates to a local pet rescue in Astoria, Queens. There, a group of misfit animals help him figure out what he actually wants out of life.

Cast and Characters
Jason Schwartzman voices Kevin, the housecat trying life without people. Aubrey Plaza plays Dana, one-half of the human couple Kevin leaves behind.
The supporting cast includes Whoopi Goldberg as Cupcake, John Waters as Armando, and Aparna Nancherla as Judy.
The trio plays Kevin’s fellow cat roommates at the rescue.
The rescue is run by Seth, voiced by Gil Ozeri, alongside his dog Brandi, voiced by Amy Sedaris.

Creative Team
Kevin is created and executive produced by Aubrey Plaza and Joe Wengert, with Wengert also serving as showrunner.
Executive producers include Dan Murphy, Chris Prynoski, Ben Kalina, Shannon Prynoski, and Antonio Canobbio.
The series is produced by Titmouse, Evil Hag Productions, and Amazon MGM Studios.
Kevin premieres April 20, 2026, exclusively on Prime Video.
