The Boys Season 5: Who Bombsight Is and Why Mason Dye’s Casting Matters

Amazon Prime Video has announced that The Boys Season 5 has cast Mason Dye as Bombsight.

Bombsight is an original character not found in the comics on which the show is based. However, the character was mentioned in The Boys Season 4 as a supe who starred in the 1950s Vought superhero film The Curse of Fu Manchu. Technically, this makes Bombsight the third oldest supe in The Boys universe.

The actor confirmed the casting on social media. “AHHHHH! So excited to be part of this,” Dye posted on his Instagram Story.

The Boys official Instagram also confirmed, “Let’s give a warm welcome to Mason Dye, joining as Bombsight in Season 5. More details, you ask? Ya know better by now.”
