Zack Snyder just did something he usually doesn’t do.
He posted two Henry Cavill Superman images on Instagram within a single hour.
Snyder has been sharing DCEU posts for months, including Ben Affleck’s Batman, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, Bruce Wayne’s Aston Martin, and the Justice League cast. But those posts usually come one at a time.
This time, Snyder doubled up on Cavill’s Superman.
With everything going on behind the scenes involving the Paramount-WBD deal, the timing is hard to ignore.
It also follows his latest Batman post, which just so happens to come after Matt Reeves’ cast announcements and the start of filming for The Batman: Part II.
Zack Snyder Posts Superman “Hope” Image
The first image shows Cavill’s Superman standing under a spotlight with the word “HOPE” beneath him.
Snyder captioned the post: “On my planet, it means hope. And it will always mean hope.”
He also used “Sent Here For A Reason” from Hans Zimmer’s Man of Steel score.
The line is one of the defining ideas of Snyder’s Superman. In Man of Steel, the “S” symbol is not just a family crest. It means hope. Snyder’s post puts that message front and center again. The message from Snyder seems loud and clear.
Snyder Shares Last Day Of Man Of Steel Photo
Less than an hour later, Snyder posted a second Henry Cavill Superman image.
This one is a behind-the-scenes photo from the last day of shooting Man of Steel, showing Snyder with Cavill, who is still wearing the Superman suit, along with assistant directors Bruce Moriarty and Misha Bukowski.
Snyder wrote: “With Henry Cavill and my AD team on the last day of shooting Man of Steel — Bruce Moriarty (@equus52) and Misha Bukowski (@filmad).”
He also used “Arcade” from the Man of Steel score.
The photo shows the group holding champagne, marking the end of production on the movie that launched Snyder’s DC universe.

This Does Not Feel Random
The double post stands out because Snyder has not been posting like this by accident.
Over the past several months, Snyder has shared a Justice League cast photo from CinemaCon, Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne Aston Martin, multiple Batfleck images, a Wonder Woman Crimea shoot photo, and a Cavill Superman image paired with “Superman Rising, Pt. 2 / Immovable.”
Now he follows all of that with two Man of Steel posts in the same hour.
As we have been reporting since November, Snyder’s social media activity has ramped up as the Paramount-WBD acquisition talk has heated up.
Our insiders have said the SnyderVerse is in “full play” for a return, with Snyder preparing for both a Dark Knight Returns adaptation and a Justice League finale, backed by Saudi investors who are said to be huge comic book fans and want a SnyderVerse-level DC event to rival Marvel.
We have also reported that James Gunn could be out at DC before Man of Tomorrow, with WonderCon insiders backing that narrative, and that Snyder was approached about returning, not the other way around.
Snyder posting two Cavill Superman images back-to-back does not confirm anything.
But two Superman posts, both tied to the Man of Steel score, both built around hope and legacy, fit the same trajectory our sources have been describing.

Fans Want Henry Cavill Back
Fans saw it, too.
The comments on both posts filled up with calls for Henry Cavill to return as Superman, Man of Steel 2 to happen, and the SnyderVerse to be restored.
One fan wrote, “Hope that Henry Cavil returns to big screen as Superman again.”
Another said, “Never lose Hope #RestoreTheSnyderVerse.”
Others added, “Henry Cavill is Superman,” and “Give us Man of Steel 2.”
One fan called Man of Steel “the best superhero movie,” adding that it was “earnest and not goofy” and described it as “modern mythology.”
Another wrote, “Boss !! Do it !!! #RestoreTheSnyderVerse.”
There were also shots at the current DC direction, with one fan writing, “That’s a real Superman suit right here. What we currently have is so poor and ridiculous.”
Another comment simply said, “HENRY CAVILL IS THE SUPERMAN.”
