Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon Director’s Cuts are currently bombing big time with critics and fans on Rotten Tomatoes, just like the first versions released on Netflix.
The Rotten Tomatoes scores are in, and they’re not good.
The two part director’s cut is how Zack originally intended his Rebel Moon movies to be, but if the Rotten Tomatoes scores are any indication, the franchise might be DOA.
From what I have also seen, there hasn’t been much talk about the Director’s Cuts, and they haven’t been trending on Netflix. They also happened to be “recommended” to me by Netflix way down the queue, as opposed to how Netflix started everyone’s Netflix landing page with the first Rebel Moon.
What are the Rotten Tomatoes scores?
The Rebel Moon – Part One: Director’s Cut Rotten Tomatoes Score is at 25%. The Audience Score is at 66%.
The Rebel Moon – Part Two: Director’s Cut Rotten Tomatoes Score is at 33%. The Audience Score is at 65%.
For comparison:
Rebel Moon: Part One – A Child of Fire Rotten Tomatoes Score is at 22%. The Audience Score is at 55%.
Rebel Moon: Part Two – The Scargiver Rotten Tomatoes Score is at 17%. The Audience Score is at 48%.
I reviewed the first two normal parts and didn’t like the first one but at least thought the second was better. Honestly, I’m probably not going to bother watching the Director’s Cuts.
