Zack Snyder is asked about James Gunn’s new Superman movie which stars David Corenswet as the new Man of Steel.
Snyder’s Second Unit Director on Batman vs. Superman and Justice League previously slammed that first-look image Gunn released of Corenswet as Superman.
However, Zack is taking more of a wait-and-see approach when it comes to Gunn’s new movie but at least says he is excited.
“ I’m gonna say that: let’s see it in the movie. I’m interested to see how it works, you know, as a piece of storytelling. Yeah. But I am excited. I’m excited to see it,” Snyder responded when The Hollywood Handled questioned him about the new David Corenswet Superman suit and that a lot of fans are comparing it to Henry Cavill.
While I was recently at Comic-Con, I chatted with DC insiders about Zack who filled me in Zack Snyder and James Gunn are friends and there is no animosity between them. I was told some of Zack’s crew is working with Gunn on the movie.
Zack has talked recently about adapting Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns, which I am told is a possibility down the road.
Regarding Henry Cavill, I’m actually told he’s up to play the MCU’s Wolverine but wants a lot of money, so we’ll have to see what happens.
