Zack Snyder has started filming his new sci-fi movie, Rebel Moon, as the director tweeted first-look images on Tuesday.

The images feature a look at Djimon Hounsou as General Titus and a look inside and outside a cockpit of some sort.

It’s being said that this is Zack Snyder’s “Star Wars” movie for Netflix as it is known Snyder is a big fan and has always wanted to direct a Star Wars film.

The flick is described as: When a peaceful colony on the edge of the galaxy finds itself threatened by the armies of the tyrannical Regent Balisarius, they dispatch a young woman with a mysterious past to seek out warriors from neighboring planets to help them take a stand.

Rebel Moon also stars Ray Fisher as Blood Axe, Bae Doona, Corey Stoll, Jena Malone, Staz Nair, E. Duffy, Charlotte Maggi, Sky Yang, Michiel Huisman, Cary Elwes, Stuart Martin, and Ingvar Sigurdsson, with Rupert Friend as Balisarius, and Sofia Boutella as Kora, the lead.

Zack Snyder is directing, with Snyder also writing along with Shay Hatten and Kurt Johnstad, with the story by Snyder and Johnstad.
