We get further insights into the low viewership of X-Men ’97 by the fact it happens to be the least-reviewed Marvel series on Disney+.
X-Men ’97 also happens to be the least-watched Marvel series on Disney+; so we see there is an obvious correlation.
Best-reviewed Marvel title?
It’s been pointed out not only by the fans but also by the fired showrunner that X-Men ’97 is the best reviewed Marvel title, as on Rotten Tomatoes, the series has a 99% Rotten Tomatoes Score from critics which tops EVERYTHING Marvel.
That number also happens to beat the 98% of Ms. Marvel, which is hilarious in its own right.
X-Men ’97 also happens to beat the likes of Iron Man (94%), The Avengers (91%), Black Panther (96%), and Avengers: Endgame (94%).
However, X-Men ’97 happens to have been reviewed by hundreds of fewer critics compared to the aforementioned.”
X-Men ’97 only has 74 reviews with all 10 episodes released.
Ms. Marvel? 304 reviews. She-Hulk? 613 reviews. What If…? is even higher at 104.
Now I’m not saying the show is bad, but for a comparison, The Marvels also has a positive Rotten Tomatoes score and we all know how well that worked out.
It suggests only the bottom of the barrel Marvel fanboys are tuning in, and again, means the viewership isn’t good as we see even the critics aren’t watching. What happened to X-Men ’97 being “super popular” and “trending” all the time?
