Wonder Woman 2: Kristen Wiig Confirmed As Villain Cheetah

Now Kristen Wiig is confirmed to be playing the villain Cheetah for Wonder Woman 2, as Wonder Woman 2 director Patty Jenkins took to Twitter to confirm the news.

“So excited to confirm the most thrilling news,” Jenkins posted. “Yes! It’s true! So incredibly lucky to welcome the sensationally talented Kristen Wiig to our Wonder Woman family. Can’t wait to finally work with one of my favorites. And SO excited by what we have planned. #Cheetah!!!”

It’s also been reported that Wonder Woman 2 will be set in the 80s in the Cold War, and that Patty Jenkins handpicked Kristin Wiig to play the part.

Gal Gadot returns in the titular role with Wonder Woman 2 having a November 1, 2019 release.
