Today at the WB Films panel at San Diego Comic-Con, a clip from the Wonder Woman 1984 movie was shown featuring Gal Gadot in action.
The footage was a short clip that showed Wonder Woman taking down bad guys in food court at a mall where she tosses a girl to safety, grabs the bad guys’ guns and crushes them, and then she lassos them and jumps off the top floor. The clip finishes with Wonder Woman running down a city street at a super fast speed.
Both Gal Gadot and director Patty Jenkins also offered that the movie is not a sequel and is very much its own thing and unique, and Jenkins credited Superman director Richard donner as the creator of the superhero genre, and that he had a big influence on her.
WB hasn’t released the Wonder Woman 1984 footage online as of yet.
