HBO releases a new 2019 teaser during the Golden Globes offering a first look at Game Of Thrones, Watchmen, Euphoria, Big Little Lies, and more.
“It’s going to be a very good year. Here’s your first look,” the video description teases.
The eighth and final season of Game of Thrones debuts in April 2019, with the exact release date to be announced. The footage in the above teaser includes a look at Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner).
The release date for Watchmen also hasn’t been announced, but it will come in 2019 as well. The footage above includes more from the Yellowface police officers as well as the first look at Jeremy Irons as the older version of Ozymandias. Watchmen has been said to take place decades after the original story in the same universe where “superheroes” are treated as outlaws.
Here is the official description:
Damon Lindelof (The Leftovers, Lost) creates a modern-day reimagining of Alan Moore’s groundbreaking graphic novel about masked vigilantes.
Based on the Alan Moore graphic novel, Watchmen is set in an alternate history where “superheroes” are treated as outlaws. And while Lindelof (The Leftovers) plans to embrace the nostalgia of the original groundbreaking graphic novel, the series will also attempt to break new ground of its own.
