The Disney+ streaming service has released a new trailer for the upcoming original series, Percy Jackson and The Olympians, based on the popular Rick Riordan books of the same name.
In this latest look at Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Percy (Walker Scobell), Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) and Grover (Aryan Simhadri) are put to the test on their adventure to restore order at Mount Olympus and save the world. Watch below.
The epic eight-episode series launches with a two-episode premiere on December 20 on Disney+, followed by new episodes weekly.

What is the series about?
Percy Jackson & The Olympians tells the fantastical story of a 12-year-old modern demigod, Percy Jackson, who’s just coming to terms with his newfound supernatural powers when the sky god Zeus accuses him of stealing his master lightning bolt. Now Percy must trek across America to find it and restore order to Olympus.
