Watch: Invincible Season 2 Trailer

Amazon Prime Video released the Invincible Season 2 trailer over the weekend at the New York Comic-Con.

Earlier in the month, also saw it revealed that Prime Video execs doubted the series.

It was revealed that Invincible Season 1 had a budget of less than four times that of the popular series, The Boys, and barely any marketing.

How Season 1 ended up being such a success is due to the fans as word of mouth spread like wildfire, said executive producer Marge Dean.

Dean runs the production company behind Invincible, Skybound Entertainment’s Animation Studio, and also said Prime Video spends four times more per episode on The Boys.

However, Invincible is right up there with The Boys in ratings as Amazon’s top-five most-watched shows, Dean said.

“I love Amazon, they’re great, but there was barely any marketing for this show,” added Dean via Deadline. “This thing just popped up but I had no idea what it was or what was going to happen.”

The creator behind Invincible, Robert Kirkman, who is also known for The Walking Dead, also said Season 3 is happening and almost done as a rough version of the season is laid out and now it’s “just a process of wrapping it all up.”
