What is Kite Man: Hell Yeah! about?

The ten-episode series will see the return of Kite Man voice actor Matt Oberg to the role and will expand Harley Quinn’s animated DC Universe in unique new ways premiering in 2024.

Kite Man: Hell Yeah! will focus on lovable loser Kite Man and his new squeeze Golden Glider as they moonlight as criminals to support their foolish purchase of Noonan’s, Gotham’s seediest dive bar, where everybody knows your name, but not necessarily your secret identity.

“We love the wild and fun world of Harley Quinn so much we just had to make a spin-off and who better to center it around than the outcast Kite Man,” said Suzanna Makkos, Executive Vice President of Original Comedy and Adult Animation at HBO Max and Adult Swim, last year when the series was first announced. “Justin, Patrick and Dean have created the perfect local hangout for Gotham City’s not-so-finest at Noonan’s, where bar patrons can blow off steam after a long day of mayhem.”

Noonan’s has been a staple of Harley Quinn since its debut season. An unremarkable dive bar on the surface, it nevertheless serves as the watering hole of choice for many of Gotham’s most nefarious residents. It’s also the location where Harley first met Clayface, who has since become one of the most trusted members of her gang. As for how the always-opinionated Quinn feels about the bar’s new owner…well, her official Twitter account made it clear.

Based on characters from DC, Kite Man: Hell Yeah! is executive-produced by Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker, Dean Lorey and Kaley Cuoco. Lorey also serves as the series showrunner.
