We also see that Luther actor Tom Hopper has dropped some weight while in quarantine and is ripped!
“On October 1, 1989, seven extraordinary humans were born. On July 31, 2020 they return. Season 2 of The Umbrella Academy streams July 31, only on Netflix,” teases the video description.
Season 1 is now streaming on Netflix; watch it if you haven’t caught it, yet, it’s really good!
The Umbrella Season 2 premiere date announcement:
The Umbrella Academy is a live-action series that follows the estranged members of a dysfunctional family of superheroes (The Umbrella Academy) — The Monocle, Spaceboy, The Kraken, The Rumor, The Séance, Number Five, The Horror, and The White Violin — as they work together to solve their father’s mysterious death while coming apart at the seams due to their divergent personalities and abilities. Published by Dark Horse Comics, the comic series garnered much praise from fans and critics alike for its alternate and twisted take on the superhero genre.
The series stars Ellen Page, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher and Justin H. Min.
New for Season 2 includes Ritu Arya playing Lila, a “chameleon” with a twisted sense of humor who is as brilliant as she’s insane, Yusuf Gatewood plays Raymond, a warm, devoted husband and a natural-born leader, and Marin Ireland is playing Sissy, a no-nonsense Texas mom who married young for “all the wrong reasons” but is ready to rediscover what life has to offer.
