Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts Problems: 'A Mess'

It’s claimed that Paramount’s upcoming release of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is a big mess and we can add where the heck is all the promotion as the flick opens in less than two months?

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts also follows the previous film from Michael Bay, The Last Kingdom, which didn’t do as well as the other Bay movies, and the Bumblebee movie that also only did so so.

We can add that Rise of the Beasts is set to go up against The Flash, which gets released a week following, and is expected to be pretty huge, but there isn’t much buzz about Transformers.

What’s wrong with Transformers: Rise of the Beasts?

Regarding the potential problems, info comes from John Rocha and Jeff Sneider via The Hot Mic podcast on YouTube.

Sneider, who has been dropping all kinds of scoop bombs as of late, offers they’re starting to worry about the new Transformers movie where he says it’s gone through lots of edits and they are arguing about the flick, which obviously isn’t a good sign at all.

“They’re getting a little worried about Transformers,” says Sneider. “This is what they said, they said that Transformers has gone through close to a dozen different editing teams that have argued about different cuts of the film.”

Roch also adds that the film is a mess” and that the studio is “trying to fix it.”

Where’s the promotion?

Regarding the promotion, Paramount did announce the global statue tour that kicked off in March and released that NCAA spot (watch below) but again, as of now there’s not much buzz surrounding the movie; however, that may be changing as of next week.

Paramount has confirmed they are bringing Transformers: Rise of the Beasts to CinemaCon with a special outdoor party and while it’s not exactly confirmed, it’s thought Paramount may screen the movie at CinemaCon, but if what Sneider and Rocha have to say is somewhat true, the final cut of the flick might not be ready, so if that is the case, look for the release of a new trailer.

Directed by Steven Caple Jr. and starring Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts arrives in theatres on June 9, 2023.

Here is the synopsis:

Returning to the action and spectacle that have captured moviegoers around the world, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will take audiences on a ‘90s globetrotting adventure with the Autobots and introduce a whole new faction of Transformer – the Maximals – to the existing battle on earth between Autobots and Decepticons.
