Last month saw Tim Allen drop the news on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that Keanu Reeves is a part of Toy Story 4, and now the actor known for The Matrix and John Wick confirms his involvement.
“I got a call which was really cool out the blue from the lovely people at Pixar and the creators of this number, this edition, or continuation of the story,” Reeves told Collider. “They pitched the character to me and then we spoke and they allowed me to kind of riff on it.”
While Keanu Reeves didn’t reveal his character, he let it be known that he’s done four recording sessions for the film so far.
Tim Allen also previously said Keanu Reeves “has got a great part.”
Toy Story 4 hits theaters June 21, 2019 also starring Tom Hanks, Joan Cusack, Don Rickles, Estelle Harris, Wallace Shawn, John Ratzenberger, Jeff Pidgeon, Jordan Peele, Keegan-Michael Key and Blake Clark.
