Tom Hanks Wants To Play The Bad Guy Against Batman or The Flash (Video)

While promoting his latest movie, Captain Phillips, Tom Hanks is asked a series of social media questions with one asking the actor why he hasn’t done any big superhero movies.

Hanks offers that he would be all up for it, but hasn’t been asked and says he would play the villain to Batman or even The Flash.

“No. They don’t ask me. I keep trying. I can do it,” Hanks laughs. “Let me play a bad guy. Let me play the bad guy against Batman. I’ll do anything. Come on. Call me. They’ve never asked. What do I gotta do? God, I want to throw a shield at somebody. You Know. I want that. And I don’t want to play the guy in the suit who tells the superheroes what’s going on. I don’t want to be that guy. I want to get in there. I want to play The Flash or something like that. And they’ll never give me a chance.”
