Thunderbolts is now filming and in a recent interview Lewis Pullman teases The Sentry, well, of sorts.

The actor appeared on Josh Horowitz’s Happy and Sad Confused Podcast and was asked about joining the MCU but wouldn’t confirm anything.

“You know, I think the MCU is always something that I’ve watched and felt like is a beautiful world that is kind of untouchable,” said Pullman playing coy. “I think there is something about joining that world that is similar to joining television which is whenever somebody joins in, you want it to be as a character you can live in for a long time and you want it to be an aspect of the world you want to be in. So if I were to ever get that call… it would be very important to take those things into account [big smile].”

Horowitz then showed Pullman a pic of The Sentry.

“What a beautiful costume,” replied Pullman who also reacted to the blond hair the character is known for in the comics.

“Look at those locks, my God,” he said as took off his hat and showed Horowitz his own locks.

The two also discussed what is the best super power where Pullman said he thinks it’s shapeshifting because the shapeshifter could copy anyone’s power which saw Horowitz tease Pullman confirmed The Sentry must be a shapeshifter in the movie.

“I haven’t looked into Sentry. First time I’ve heard this name,” teased Pullman. “The Sentry sounds like a snakey, shapeshifter kind of vibe, if you read the comics.”

Horowitz also tried to get Pullman to talk about his audition, questioning if it happened after Steven Yuen departed the role, but again, Lewis Pullman wouldn’t give up anything.

Pullman also said he gets mistaken for an older Tom Holland. More on YouTube.
