In conjunction with the lease of Thor 2, Disney has announced that Asgard will be coming to Disneyland.
Details are sparse, but the official Disney blog states that Asgard will be coming this Fall giving guests a face-to-face with the Mighty Avenger, Thor.
Thor joins Iron Man and Captain America as superheroes Disney is creating theme attractions for.
For Iron Man 3, Disney featured the Hall of Armors, and Captain America was recently announced to be a part of the Avengers Academy Disney Magic cruise line.
Disney promises to update next month for more on Thor 2 and Asgard in Disneyland.
Thor 2: The Dark World hammers into theaters November 8th, 2013 directed by Alan Taylor (Game of Thrones), starring Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Idris Elba as Heimidall, Zachary Levi as Fandral and Jaimie Alexander as Sif, Christopher Eccleston as Malekith the Accursed, Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Kurse.
