According to a Hollywood writer, The Crow reboot is both “horrible” and “unwatchable,” and Cliff Dorfman recommends to fans to not watch it.
The reboot is getting released from Lionsgate and stars Bill Skarsgård as the titular character, with Rupert Sanders as the director.
The director of the original movie also said the reboot shouldn’t be made, and nearly 150k fans disliked the reboot trailer on YouTube.
Shortly after the trailer release, Lionsgate also pushed the release date back from June to August.
What did Cliff Dorfman say about The Crow reboot?
Cliff Dorfman wrote Warrior which stars Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton, the MMA movie Brothers, and has 86 in the works starring Stephen Amell.
Well, apparently Dorfman got to see an early screening of The Crow and didn’t like it at all.
“If hypothetically, one happened to see a screening of @TheCrow_Movie #thecrow which @Lionsgate is releasing in August, one might say, it’s horrible, it’s unwatchable, don’t waste your money, or can’t believe it’s so much worse than the original. It is. And don’t,” he said.
As CBM notes, the tweet has since been deleted.
Bloody Disgusting also released a new image still of Bill Skarsgård (above) and a new TV spot has been released. Watch below.
