Lionsgate has released a new poster for The Crow reboot which shows off actor Bill Skarsgård as Eric Draven, the titular character, which likely means a new trailer will be dropping soon. A new image has also surfaced online. See below.
The film follows soulmates Eric Draven and Shelly Webster (FKA twigs) who are brutally murdered when the demons of her dark past catch up with them. Given the chance to save his true love by sacrificing himself, Eric sets out to seek merciless revenge on their killers, traversing the worlds of the living and the dead to put the wrong things right.
There is controversy surrounding the film as fans have disliked the trailer on YouTube with 152k dislikes.
Hollywood writer Cliff Dorfman said he saw a cut of the movie and that it is both “horrible” and “unwatchable.”
The director of the original movie also said the reboot shouldn’t be made.
