James Gunn Blasts Rabid Captain America Fans!

This week saw Marvel Comics change up the origins of Captain America making him having always been an agent of Hydra.

While Marvel Comics did it because DC Comics released their huge Rebirth issue, and we know it will eventually change back, fans are pretty upset.

Now Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn has taken to his Facebook page to blast some of those fans!

“If you’re a forty-year-old dude claiming a comics company ruined your childhood because of a plot twist, you might consider that your childhood really wasn’t that great to begin with,” Gunn posted, which has caused fans to erupt in the comments.

While at first Gunn honestly comes off as sounding like a dick, in those comments he follows up with more explaining that his opinions are aimed at those Captain America fans that take things a bit too far (such as death threats etc).

“I didn’t stick up for the plot twist. I just said if you’re giving a plot twist so much power over your life, there are deeper issues at play,” Gunn added.

Gunn continued with a reply to a comment that notes most of the complaints are probably coming from fans that don’t even read the Marvel Comics (compared to the movies not many actually read comics).

“And the MCU is not the same as the 616 so they can do what hey want,” Gunn said.

Gunn also responded to a fan’s comment that changing Captain America essentially into a Nazi is a slap in the face to the character’s creators, two legendary comic book figures who are Jewish, Joe Simon and Jack Kirby.

“I think saying something so trite is a slap in the face to the creators is a slap in the face to the creators. Simon and Kirby’s lives and works are a lot bigger than this one issue of a comic book. This argument seems like it’s reaching for a reason to be outraged as well as being a rather offensive exploitation of Joe Simon and Jack Kirby’s very real struggles,” Gunn said.

Gunn then joked his own childhood was ruined by Cap Wolf.

“Marvel ruined my childhood by making Captain America a wolfman,” Gunn said.

If you’re a forty-year-old dude claiming a comics company ruined your childhood because of a plot twist, you might consider that your childhood really wasn’t that great to begin with.

Dan Abnett Now Exclusive With DC Comics

Fan-favorite writer Dan Abnett has signed exclusively with DC Comics.

Abnett, known for penning Marvel Cosmic, Guardians of the Galaxy and Nova, will be writing Aquaman and Titans for DC.

Brad Walker, Abnett’s artist on Guardians, also returns for Aquaman.

See the full announcement below.

Good move, DC.

‘AQUAMAN’ AND ‘TITANS’ WRITER DAN ABNETT SIGNS WITH DC ENTERTAINMENT

Fan-Favorite Writer to Pen AQUAMAN and TITANS as Part of DC Universe: Rebirth

BURBANK, Calif. (May 26, 2016) – DC Entertainment continues to add top-flight talent to its creative roster, announcing today that it has reached an agreement with writer Dan Abnett to create comic book content solely for the company’s DC and Vertigo imprints. In addition to writing Aquaman: Rebirth #1 and Aquaman #1 in June, Abnett will also pen Titans: Rebirth #1, continuing threads from his storyline in his current Titans Hunt miniseries. Shipping twice monthly, the Aquaman art team includes talented artists Phil Briones, Scot Eaton, Oscar Jimenez, Jesus Merino and Brad Walker, while the monthly Titans will see artist Brett Booth accompany Abnett on the book.

“Dan Abnett is the perfect fit for Aquaman and Titans,” said DC Entertainment Co-Publisher Jim Lee. “He skillfully balances great dialogue and high-octane action, making for great reads every time. DC is excited that he’ll be giving fans more great stories in both books as we enter into our line wide REBIRTH re-launch in June and beyond.”

Aquaman continues the story of Arthur Curry, the King of Atlantis, as he seeks to reconcile his dual heritage of land and sea. A citizen of both worlds, Arthur seeks to unite Atlantis with the rest of the global community. But his plans will be thrown into chaos with the return of his arch-nemesis Black Manta, who seeks to destroy the careful balance of peace, and bring Aquaman’s world crashing down.

Titans continues story beats from Abnett’s run on Titans Hunt, with teammates Wally West, Donna Troy, Arsenal, Garth, Lilith and Nightwing all reunited after the disastrous consequences of having their memories lost. Now, with their memories intact they will attempt to reunite as a team, and stop the demon that broke them apart and is a threat to reality itself.

“I was delighted by Dan DiDio’s invitation to sign exclusively with DC,” said Abnett. “My recent work for DC, on projects like He-Man, Earth 2 and Titans Hunt have been both rewarding and enjoyable, and now with Aquaman’s Rebirth in the mix, and the Titans as a new series, it seems like the ideal time to really focus on DC work and do my best to knock each and every issue out of the park. Not that we have baseball parks in the UK. We have cricket pitches. But the point stands, anyway…”

Abnett makes his REBIRTH debut on Aquaman: Rebirth #1 (on sale June 8) and Aquaman #1 (on sale June 22) beginning an all-new story arc, blasting out of the events of the DC Universe: Rebirth #1 special, written by Geoff Johns (Justice League, Green Lantern: Rebirth, Flash: Rebirth), that went on sale May 25. As part of the REBIRTH line wide re-launch, Aquaman will ship twice monthly, and at a lower price of $2.99.

Guardians of the Galaxy Confirmed For Avengers: Infinity War

Star-Lord and Rocket Raccoon have already been confirmed for The Avengers: Infinity War, and now the rest of the gang will be joining them.

Avengers: Infinity War writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely basically confirm the Guardians of the Galaxy will be a part of the movie (via Nerdist).

“Let me put it this way. You know who owns that gauntlet, right? And you know who’s in another movie? His kids are in that movie. It’s a big universe” McFeely said, with Markus adding, “You do the math!”

Thor and Doctor Strange have also recently been confirmed to be lending a cosmic hand for Avengers: Infinity War.

“The Avengers: Infinity War Part 1” hits May 4, 2018 followed by Part 2 on May 3, 2019.

Guardians of the Galaxy 2” has a May 5, 2017 release.

Sounds Like Rocket Raccoon Confirmed For Avengers: Infinity War

We already have confirmation Star-Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy will appear in Avengers: Infinity War, and now it seems as if Peter Quill will be bringing his pal Rocket Raccoon along for the ride.

Avengers: Infinity War writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely spoke with The Verge about Captain America: Civil War, which led into questioning about making Thanos work in the Infinity War films with Rocket seemingly confirmed:

You said the magic word there, grounded. You’ve done a very good job in making these superhero movies feel like they’re part of a recognizable reality. But as you said, there’s a big purple space guy coming in the next two movies. How do you make that work, tonally?

SM: We’ll try to split the difference. We certainly don’t want to try to betray the Jim Starlin Thanos, all those comic runs. They get pretty trippy. That’s in the DNA of it. But before we get there, you’ll see Guardians 2, you’ll see Doctor Strange. My hope is that the movie audience will be a little bit more prepared for some trippier stuff.

CM: Also, whether they’re a 12-foot purple guy, or a raccoon, or an android, they’re all people, and we’re going to write them as people. You can’t write them any other way. So, ideally it will stay grounded because you’ll completely understand why the characters are doing what they’re doing, and you will in some way or another empathize.

I’m curious to see if Rocket Raccoon will be brought to Earth or if they’ll keep him out in space for the Avengers: Infinity War movies.  I have to agree with what Guardians of the Galaxy comic book writer Dan Abnett said about bringing Rocket to Earth which is a rather goofy approach, but keeping him in an outer space setting works. Here’s the quote:

I think that’s why I’ve always loved the cosmic side of Marvel: placing super heroes in an [sci-fi] context means that it’s less about costumes and secret identities and integrating super hero roles into a ‘real world.’  These are characters [that] look and behave the way they do because of non-terrestrial technology, culture, and abilities. We get a sense of the whole universe, and the possibilities are vast and ingenious. Take Rocket, as an example. On Earth, he’d be a curiosity, a goofy “fun” character. Out in the universe, he’s non-human adventurer that we don’t have to qualify or excuse. We can just get on with enjoying his misadventures.

“The Avengers: Infinity War Part 1” has a May 4, 2018 release followed by Part 2 on May 3, 2019 directed by Joe and Anthony Russo.

James Gunn Looks To Keep Classic Mantis Look For Guardians of the Galaxy 2

Good news for fans of the Marvel Comics’ Mantis as it looks as if the character will retain her classic look in the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 movie.

James Gunn shared a storyboard featuring Mantis where her antennae can be seen.

Update: Gunn offered the following on Facebook, which may hint the character look may be different (or not):

It’s already #‎WhatWeShotWednesday‬. We’ve had an amazing week on‪#‎GotGVol2 – in fact I’d say the past two weeks may have been some of the most fruitful of my life. @pomin8r and Kurt Russell have been bringing it hard, and our DP Henry Braham has been killing it as well. It’s wonderful having a great cast and crew, all one hundred percent committed to the cause. Today we shot this little piece. A certain new character may be somewhat obvious, the others not quite so much (and, I should add, please don’t mistake my storyboard character shorthand for actual character design – another character in the film is presented throughout with a stovetop hat just so I know who he is!)

In the popular Abnett and Lanning Guardians of the Galaxy comics that inspired the movie, Mantis has telepathic and precognitive abilities. Star-Lord also used Mantis psy skills to form the team.

Pom Klementieff is playing Mantis in the film.

“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” has a May 5, 2017 release starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Michael Rooker and Sean Gunn. New cast members include Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan and Kurt Russell.

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 Nathan Fillion Easter Eggs Revealed

Following the Dan Abnett, Andy Lanning and Jack Kirby Easter Eggs for Guardians of the Galaxy 2, now buddy to James Gunn, Nathan Fillion’s own reference is discovered on set.

Fans spotted mock movie posters featuring Nathan Fillion who is featured as Simon Williams aka Wonder Man. Fillion also played an alien in the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie.

In the comics, Wonder Man starred in the “Arkon” movies, which saw the character of same name do battle against Wonder Man and tell Simon not to have the studio do any more films with his name.

Regarding the “Haxan” movie poster, it seems it’s a possible reference the 1922 movie of the same name, in which Wiki describes as: “Swedish-Danish silent film written and directed by Benjamin Christensen. Based partly on Christensen’s study of the Malleus Maleficarum, a 15th-century German guide for inquisitors, Häxan is a study of how superstition and the misunderstanding of diseases and mental illness could lead to the hysteria of the witch-hunts. The film was made as a documentary but contains dramatised sequences that are comparable to horror films.”

The third movie poster looks to possibly be a Tony Stark film with Simon Williams playing the lead character, which might be an Iron Man movie based in the MCU from the events that went down in the 2008 movie.

The fourth poster, “Oh, Rebecca,” may be a reference to Fillion’s former role on the soap, One Life To Live. Actress Rebecca Budig from the soap has appeared on Fillion’s Castle.

You can also check out Guardians of the Galaxy 2 set video from the scene featuring some sort of chase and car crash. Maybe it’s Arkon?

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” has a May 5, 2017 release directed by James Gunn starring Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Zoe Salanda as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket Raccoon, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Michael Rooker as Yondu, Sean Gunn as Kraglin, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, with Kurt Russell playing an unknown role.

Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning were the writers behind the 2008 Marvel comic book that inspired the movie.

Of course, Kirby is legendary comic artist and creator Jack Kirby.

Don’t Believe Avengers X-Men Rumors Says James Gunn

The current rumor going around is that, similar to Spider-Man, the X-Men may be coming back to Marvel.

It’s been rumored on more than once occasion that Fox and Disney are striking up a deal, which would see X-Men characters interact within the MCU.

One specific rumor stated an Avengers and X-Men movie is being planned for 2020, with another stating the X-Men are getting rebooted under Marvel following X-Men: Apocalypse.

The bad news is that it may not be happening.

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 director James Gunn recently held a Facebook Q&A where he was asked about the crossover.

“I wouldn’t believe any of those rumors about Fox Disney,” Gunn said.

While Gunn seemed to have shot the rumor down, at least Fox’s Simon Kinberg and Deadpool’s Tim Miller are open to the idea of a crossover.

“Yeah, I think we all would,” Simon Kinberg recently said about crossing over Avengers and X-Men. “There’s so much crossover in the comics it would be neat to one day be able see those characters share a movie.”

You can watch more from James Gunn in the video below who also offers up he is not sure if he will be doing Guardians of the Galaxy 3, and Gunn also says John C. Reilly will not be back as Nova’s Rhomann Dey for Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” has a May 5, 2017 release.

Star-Lord & Thor Confirmed For Avengers: Infinity War

It’s confirmed the Guardians of the Galaxy – at least one member with Star-Lord – as well as the god of Thunder, Thor, will be appearing in The Avengers: Infinity War.

Joe Russo confirmed the news to the ComicBook.com web site.

On Star-Lord:

The movies are intended to be a culmination of everything that’s happened before in the MCU so you don’t want to get into spoilers but I’m a big fan of what James Gunn has done. [Joe Russo and I] are both big fans of what James Gunn has done. Star-Lord is a fantastic character and Chris Pratt is an awesome performer so you’d be very excited.

On Thor:

I’m excited to work with Thor. They’re doing some really interesting stuff with Ragnarok and where he’s gonna be at the beginning of Infinity War is gonna be a very interesting place and I think very profound. I think he’s gonna have a real emotional motivation after that.

It remains to be seen whether or not any of the other Guardians of the Galaxy characters make their way to Avengers: Infinity War. Interestingly enough, a while back a former Marvel employee that worked on the comic book told Cosmic Book News he/she expected the Guardians to be cannon fodder for Thanos.

And now we also know Thor survives Thor: Ragnarok.

The Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 has a May 4, 2018 release followed by Part 2 on May 3, 2019 directed by Joe and Anthony Russo.

Marvel Cosmic Tanking Fast

Here’s an update on the sales for Marvel Cosmic, which hasn’t been the same since Abnett and Lanning were on the books.

Back when DnA were at the helm, Marve Cosmic sales were “rock solid” — per the words of the former editor on the book, Bill Rosemann.

Now save Abnett’s Guardians of Infinity and Starlin’s Adam Warlock/Thanos stuff, all the Marvel “Cosmic” comics put out by Marvel have more or less become parodies of their former glory.

It’s obvious fans haven’t been happy with Marvel Cosmic for a while as sales continue to nose dive. I’m guessing a lot of the Marvel Cosmic readers aren’t even around much any more.

The bold titles below are more or less the titles that have replaced the Annihilation-era of Marvel Cosmic, with just about all of them approaching the cancellation threshold number (some are already below it; used to be 25-30K back when Quesada was in charge). I’ve included a few other titles that are sort of relevant to the genre as well.

February numbers:

Mighty Thor #4 (56,568): not a bad drop from January’s 60,345.

All New All Different Avengers #5 (51, 740): dropped almost 6000.

All New All Different Avengers #6 (48,022): make that 9000 from issue #4.

Doctor Strange #5 (47,933); drop of around 5000.

Bendis’ Guardians of Galaxy (40,581): drop of 6000. I’m guessing Bendis took a pay cut to stay on this book as it’s under 50K. Normally whenever a book Bendis is on drops below that number (ditto with Loeb), he gets replaced.

Totally Awesome Hulk #3 (35,709): drop of around 4000.

A-Force #2 (35,571): drop of 30,000.

Uncanny Inhumans #5 (35, 145): holding steady.

Ms. Marvel #4 (30,916): drop of about 2000.

Rocket Raccoon and Groot #2 (29,180): Drop of 30,000.

Captain Marvel #2 (28,962): drop of 24,000.

Ultimates #4 (27, 177): drop of around 3000 – hearing good things about Ewing’s work on this; have yet to try it.

Karnak #2 (26,796): drop of 37,000 from October’s #1.

Silver Surfer #2 (25,099): drop of 32,000.

Squadron Supreme #4 (24,182): plus 1000.

All New Inhumans #4 (22,334): drop of 3000.

Guardians of Infinity #3 (22,309): drop of almost 5000.

Venom Space Knight #4 (21,545): drop of around 4000.

Howard The Duck #4 (20,965): drop of 8000.

Star-Lord #4 (19,117): drop of 3,500.

Angela Queen of Hel #5 (15,968): drop of 3000.

NINO Nova # 4 (18,187): drop of over 5000. Consistent poor seller for Marvel; consistently sells less than the Richard Rider Nova. Why NINO is still around is anybody’s guess.

Drax #4 (14,620): drop of 4,200.

Hercules #4 (13, 767): drop of around 2,600.

James Gunn Says Spider-Man Is More Than Awesome In Captain America: Civil War

Check out James Gunn below from the set of Guardians of the Galaxy 2 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Gunn mentions he just shot a scene involving Chris Pratt and Kurt Russell in their costumes, but could say no more.

As they are getting ready to shoot another scene, which will take about twenty minutes to set up, Gunn took the time to talk to fans on Facebook.

Some highlights:

Everybody is asking Gunn for his opinion on Batman Vs. Superman, but he hasn’t seen it, yet.

Gunn says he doesn’t want to direct Star Wars.

A lot of fans thought Gunn was showing off the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 trailer, but he’s not.

There is no Star-Lady.

They’ve been shooting for twenty days.

Gunn has no interest in being president of the United States.

Gunn said he watched the first two episode of Daredevil Season 2? and heard it gets better. Gunn says he liked the first season a lot.

Hasn’t been able to keep up with The Walking Dead.

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is supposed to wrap filming in June.

Gunn says he has lots of songs he wants on Guardians of the Galaxy Awesome Mix Vol. 2, but obviously can’t use them all. He can’t share them all, that’s the difficult part.

Gunn says Civil War is awesome.

Gunn says he has quit addressing rumors (won’t comment on potential actors in GOTG 2).

Gunn says he’s Team Iron Man.

Really liked the movie Ex Machina.

First Marvel comic Gunn remembers reading is an issue of Thor.

Drax would probably not like being told to register for something.

Thanos has zero role in Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

The story is about the Guardians.

Liked 10 Cloverfield a lot.

Not sure what he is going to do following Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Marvel has asked him to continue on, but Gunn says he is not sure, yet.

Kurt Russell has been a delight to work with, is having so much fun and really committed to the role he is playing.

They’re blessed to have such a good group of people to work with.

Spider-Man is more than awesome in Civil War, he’s incredible.

No interest in directing the Spawn reboot.

Pom Klementieff fits the role of Mantis so perfectly it’s shocking.

Odds of Rom Spaceknight? Zero. Story is owned by Marvel (Spaceknights). Hasbro owns the character. Gunn would be intersted if it was possible.

Rocket and Groot are his favorites.

James Gunn Doesn’t Deny Sylvester Stallone Guardians of the Galaxy 2 Rumor

The first rumor stated Sly was going cosmic when he allegedly was spotted at the same Atlanta hotel the cast of GOTG 2 is staying at, and it was also said Stallone was seen with the script and used the same car as Chris Pratt.

Following that, a second rumor hit the net suggesting Sylvester Stallone is playing a member of the Nova Corps, as it’s said he was spotted wearing what resembles a Judge Dredd costume.

We know James Gunn is big on social media and loves to read all about his Guardians of the Galaxy movie (ha ha). A few days ago saw Gunn comment on rumors surrounding the film. Though he made no mention of Stallone – Gunn says he isn’t commenting on rumors anymore – he neither denies nor confirms the rumor, but does offer a cryptic response via Facebook.

Sometimes rumors around ‪#‎GotGVol2‬ turn up that are batshit crazy. Other times rumors turn up that are batshit crazy AND untrue. Unfortunately, you’ll just have to wait a while to find out which ones are which. I’m done spoiling the fun.

Back to shooting a scene with Man-Thing and Chris Pratt.*

*All right, that one’s untrue. For now…

The post also saw Gunn answer a few fan questions:

Better to debunk rumours or to have fun with them?

As I announced a couple months ago, I will ignore all of them.

Hey James what would be the likelyhood of a symbiote showing up in a future Guardians/cosmic Marvel film?

As of now very unlikely.

Hey Mr Gunn when you saw Civil War did you offer any suggestions/improvements? Or was the movie done the best it could already?

I offered suggestions, but mostly just told them what I thought worked and the (very little) that didn’t work.

If asked would you ever direct a episode of The Walking Dead

Nope. There’s no current TV show I’d direct.

Are any of these rumours ever started by yourself or the cast?!

No.

A few days ago saw word hit that Sylvester Stallone was spotted in Atlanta on his way to the set of Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

Now it’s revealed that Sylvester Stallone might be playing a Nova.

According to OnLocationVacations, a tipster provided information that Sylvester Stallone’s costume “looks a lot like Judge Dredd.”

If you are familiar with Judge Dredd, and the Nova Corps from the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie, the costumes do look a lot alike:

New James Gunn Guardians of the Galaxy 2 Behind-The-Scenes Image

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:24528:]]

James Gunn posted a new behind-the-scenes image from Guardians of the Galaxy 2 offering insights as to how the movie-making process gets done.

The pic features script supervisor Marty Kitrosser who is responsible for all the continuity from scene to scene.

“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” has a May 5, 2017 release starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Michael Rooker and Sean Gunn. New cast members include Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan and Kurt Russell.

Behind the scenes on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. There are a lot of folks who are as responsible for the outcome of a film as the actors or department heads. Here I am with Marty Kitrosser, our script supervisor. The script supervisor – or ‘scriptie’ – is an important role on a film. They make sure continuity matches throughout the film – if your lead actress’s hair is sticking up in the first shot, it’s up to them to remind us to have it sticking up in the second. Sounds simple, right? No. There are hundreds of elements in every scene they need to keep an eye on. They’re also responsible for giving notes to the editor (I tell Marty which takes I want to use and which ones I don’t) and for keeping track of what screen direction actors should be looking. Also important is that, as a director, a script supervisor is by your side for the entire movie. So you have to make sure you won’t want to kill him or her by the end.

Marty is an awesome dude and fun to hang with, so that works out for me. He’s had a long career, script supervised all of Tarantino’s films, script supervised the first Friday the 13th and wrote Friday the 13th Part III. As someone who loves the behind-the-scenes history of film, I’m constantly grilling him on his experiences.

Oh yeah – and Happy Leap Year.

Peyton Reed & James Gunn Make Fun Of R-Rated Super Hero Movies

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:24476:]]

Deadpool seems to have opened the proverbial pandora’s box as now, apparently, a slew of R-rated super hero films is to follow.

The next Wolverine and possibly X-Force are all said to be R-Rated, and recently saw news hit about an R-Rated Batman Vs. Superman director’s cut.

So will Marvel Studios follow?

While that seems highly unlikely, Ant-Man director Peyton Reed and Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn have fun with the notion.

Petyon Reed took to Twitter to state the Ant-Man and the Wasp sequel will be NC-17, which was followed up with a tweet from Gunn stating Inhumans will be a snuff film.

On a side note, initially The Avengers movie was given an R-rating due to Coulson’s death scene. The scene originally was more graphic which showed Loki impaling Coulson from behind with the blade coming out of Coulson’s chest. The final version only saw the aftermath with the blade sticking out.

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:24440:]]

James Gunn is currently filming Guardians of the Galaxy 2 in Atlanta, and now we have a first look – of sorts – at Karen Gillan who returns as Nebula.

Karen Gillan took to her Twitter to tease: “It’s good to be back in blue.”

It’s been said Gillan’s Nebula joins the Guardians of the Galaxy team this time around.

I also believe it’s been said Karen Gillan won’t have to shave her head as well.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has a May 5, 2017 release also starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Michael Rooker and Sean Gunn. New cast members include Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan and Kurt Russell.
