Karen Gillan Confirms Nebula For The Avengers: Infinity War & Avengers 4

Joining Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket and Groot in The Avengers: Infinity War will be Nebula.

Karen Gillan, who reprises as the daughter to the Mad Titan Thanos in an expanded role for James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy 2, confirmed an appearance in The Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4 with the BBC.

“So look out for those,” Karen Gillan said of her upcoming movies, which includes Guardians of the Galaxy 2, the Jumanji sequel, The Circle and Tupperware Party, her latest movie which she is directing and starring in and also wrote. “And then I’ll be making a little appearance in the next Avengers movies.”

In the Infinity Gauntlet comic book, which provides inspiration for the MCU and Avengers: Infinity War movie, Nebula plays a prominent role. It remains to be seen how close the movie will follow the graphic novel, but let’s hope it’s something similar (as it’s pretty darn cool!).

The Avengers: Infinity War has a May 4, 2018 release starring Josh Brolin as Thanos. Marvel Studios has yet to officially announce the cast, but the following are thought/confirmed to be a part of the movie: Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Cobie Smulders, Samuel L. Jackson, Sebastian Stan, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Chadwick Boseman, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Tom Holland and Brie Larson.
