Sylvester Stallone Announces The Expendables 4

The Expendables 4 is happening.

Sylvester Stallone, producer and star of the films, took to Instagram to announce The Expendables 4.

“Just when you thought it was safe to go outside…They’re coming back!” Stallone said.

The first The Expendables movie came out in 2010 with two subsequent films made, which featured various Hollywood heavyweights all together in one film.

In addition to Sylvester Stallone, noted Hollywood action stars featured in the movies have included Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson, Wesley Snipes, and the films have brought in stars from outside the world of the movie biz including Stone Cold Steve Austin, Randy Couture and Ronda Rousey.

Rumors surrounding actors possibly involved in The Expendables 4 include Pierce Brosnan, Jack Nicholson, Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci, Al Pacino, Clint Eastwood, Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson.

Steven Seagal has also been a big favorite to appear in an Expendables movie.

It was also previously thought Sylvester Stallone wasn’t going to be involved with another Expendables film, but now that Stallone has confirmed on social media that The Expendables 4 is happening, it seems Stallone will definitely be back.

The Expendables movies have brought in around $750 million worldwide.
