The DC Universe app series Swamp Thing has cast its villain for the series with Kevin Durand as Jason Woodrue, aka Floronic Man, a brilliant but abrasive scientist who gets transmogrified super-villain into the super-villain.
In the comics, Floronic Mana is a plant/human hybrid who wishes to eradicate all animal life.
The news follows Swamp Thing being cast with Andy Bean playing the human form of biologist Alec Holland, with Derek Mears playing the monster form.
Also cast in the series includes Crystal Reed as Abby Arcane, Maria Sten as Liz Tremayne, Jeryl Prescott as Madame Xanadu, Virginia Madsen as Maria Sunderland and Will Patton as Avery Sunderland.
Kevin Durand is known for playing The Blob in X-Men Origins: Wolverine as well as roles in Lost and The Strain.
