'Superman' Trailer Releases Thursday 9am: Logo, David Corenswet Poster, Website Drops

James Gunn’s highly-anticipated Superman trailer will be released on Thursday at 9am EST, and Gunn and WB have kicked off marketing in a big way by releasing the first footage in a new teaser, a countdown website, a DC fan podcast and high-res images of David Corenswet and the new logo.

“The Superman Trailer drops at 6 am PST Thursday morning. Countdown here: supermanmovie.net,” posted Gunn on social media. The website features a look at the “S” symbol logo along with a counter that countdowns to the trailer release.

The new teaser that has also been released shows the first footage of the Daily Planet cast and David Corenswet in action as the Man of Steel. Gunn also released the following message to fan. Wendell Pierce also showed off a first look at his Perry White.

While fans wait for the trailer, Gunn also released a list of his favorite Christmas songs.

“Here’s something to occupy you while waiting for the Superman trailer to debut Thursday morning. My favorite songs of the year on Spotify. It’s been a great year for music!” Gunn posted.

DC Studios and Gunn also launched Fan First and a new DC podcast.
