James Gunn has shared a new behind-the-scenes image from Superman, offering fans a first look at several members of the film’s superhero lineup, aka the Justice Gang.
The photo shows Gunn alongside Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern (Guy Gardner), Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, and Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho who is a DC villain.
Jimmy Olsen Promo Highlights the Daily Planet
Also released is a short promo featuring Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen. Titled A Day at Work with Jimmy Olsen, the clip shows off the Daily Planet newsroom with appearances by David Corenswet’s Clark Kent and Rachel Brosnahan’s Lois Lane.
Fans quickly picked up on a framed photo on Jimmy’s desk that shows him surrounded by a group of attractive women, despite being a nerdy photographer.

About the Film
Superman, DC Studios’ first official feature, is set to hit theaters worldwide this summer. Directed and written by James Gunn, the film reimagines the Man of Steel with a mix of action, humor, and emotional depth. David Corenswet stars as Superman/Clark Kent, with Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor.
The supporting cast includes: Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio, María Gabriela de Faría, Wendell Pierce, Alan Tudyk, Pruitt Taylor Vince, and Neva Howell.

Superman is produced by Gunn and Peter Safran for DC Studios. It’s set to premiere in international markets starting July 9, 2025, with a U.S. release in theaters and IMAX on July 11.
