Superman: The Man of Steel (2013): Leaked Call Sheet Reveals Bar Scene Details and Actors

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:856:]]Lots of new information on Zack Snyder’s new Superman movie, the Man of Steel has come to light.

A leaked “Autumn Frost” Call Sheet from early October has revealed the names of actors, key details and scenes.

The first scene mentioned takes place at “Cassidy’s Roadhouse,” aka The Cassidy Inn Pub located in Nanaimo, British Columbia.

There is mention of beer cans, music instruments, the Canadian Military, various vehicles and locals.

Of interest:

Canadian Singer Allison Crowe has been cast as a singer at the bar. Crowe is originally from the area, who started out singing at local bars and coffee houses. Check out her website to listen to some samples. Crowe’s influences include Ani DiFranco, Pearl Jam, Tori Amos and The Counting Crows. Maybe she will get a spot on the official soundtrack.

Ian Tracey has been cast as Ludlow. Tracey is known for Supernatural, Hell on Wheels and Sanctuary. Tracey was also featured in Zack Snyder’s Sucker Punch as a Police Officer. 

Actress Carmen Lavigne has been cast as Chrissy. Lavigne also played a role in another Zack Snyder film, Watchmen, as she was an anti-war protester. In addition, Lavigne is no stranger to Superman, as she played a part in Smallville, the Valentine Fairy. She was also featured in Red Riding Hood (2011) as well as the TV series, The Troop.

Howard Siegel has been cast as Weaver. Siegel is also know for WB’s Supernatural as well as Smallville. Siegel has been featured in Fringe and Stargate SG-1.

The list of stuntman reveals that Snyder is using the same group as he did for Watchmen. Tim Connolly, Damon Caron, Nick Brandon, Rich Cetrone all played a part in the 2009 DC Comics adaptation.

Regarding what takes place in the scene, if you mix locals with the military, throw in Superman and some alcohol — it’s not too hard to guess. Some set photos may have revealed that Clark works at the Bar, maybe as a cook.
